The manuals epitomize the undecided nature of the machine: it is somewhat inadequate for serious use but a trifle expensive for a toy. I looked at several of the software offerings that IBM is currently selling for the PCjr and, in general, was not terribly impressed. A few random samplings of these packages are described below.
